Cotton flakes are stirred to reinforce high stress areas in the molding and to create bonds in resin systems.
Areas of applications and features:
Used to add in polyester and epoxy resin, to increase the strength of the mould parts and the mixture is still able to flow. Chopped glass fibre can be added with ot without cotton flocks.Resins that are reinforced with chopped glass fibres have a high tensile-, bending and pressure strength.
